Théâtres
ChamSys has all the features theatre professionals have come to expect, whether for purpose built venues, schools or traveling performances.
The traditions, expectations and practices of theatrical lighting designers are distinctly different from those who work in entertainment or broadcast. Theatre calls on a lighting console to do things in unique ways in a collaborative environment because of rehearsal requirements and the need to work quickly on a broad canvas and then go back and make small adjustments later in a reliable and predictable way.
ChamSys consoles are commonly found in theatres and schools, with the QuickQ range offering ease of use and simplicity at its core and the feature rich MagicQ range delivering more advanced features such as the Audio Timeline, Tracksheet and more.
Both QuickQ and MagicQ consoles are designed to put powerful lighting control in the hands of students, enabling them to program and visualize designs at home on their computer for playback at school. Security is assured in institutional settings with features that enable ChamSys consoles to be locked down for restricted access by system admins, programmers and operators, allowing restrictions that range from locking network settings to fully limiting operation to playback only.

QuickQ also offers users the flexibility of programming their designs on a computer, saving them on a flash drive and loading them onto the console for playback.
